cheating
I wasn't going to do this one tonight but I think I will because with all these damn relationship problems various friends are going through right now I think I need to speak on it.
What is cheating?... well one basic question you can ask in determining whether you are cheating or not is, if my partner came to me and told me that they are doing the same thing I am doing what I be mad? If you get mad thinking about your partner doing what you are doing then you should know you are really wrong!
Now some people may think I'm crazy but I put a lot of things under this category of cheating, for example people say you can't cheat with someone online. Well I beg to differ. If you are talking to someone and are having casual convo and develop a healthy interaction then more power to you BUT if you are sharing with this person your personal thoughts and desires that you don't share with your partner, and you are talking to them on the phone, email, and other mediums when you should/could be talking to your partner, or if you talk to them before you talk to your partner or you have to lie to your partner and tell them its all innocent and don't believe the hype its just online...I'm sorry but that's a form of cheating in my opinion.
Cheating does not have to be something physical to me, such as sex/sleeping together it can encompass a lot of areas. To me when a person feels they have to lie to their partner to hide a relationship with another person that's a way of cheating. Because if it's just a basic friendship there should be nothing to hide everything can out in the open.
Now guys I have to say if you are in a relationship and ladies this goes for you too... JUST DON'T CHEAT... I don't care if someone shows up ass naked at your door, or if you guys had a fight, or if you needed a place to stay, or if you know you won't get caught, or if they are a celebrity, or if they offered it, or if your asshole partner cheated so it would be a good payback, or any other lame ass excuse (mind you these are all things I've known to happen with people I know). It's just not cool. I know from personal experience that feelings get hurt, especially if the person you are cheating on and the person you are cheating with think they are the only one, bonds get broken, and relationships are truly destroyed, and homes/structures are broken.
Is it really worth losing all that for some online chic, or some easy ass, or for 15 minutes of pleasure. I don't think so. Because of some stupid mistakes I know a few people that have lost relationships that they later realized were the best thing they had FOREVER, they lost not only a relationship but also trust respect and a friend.
It's not worth it.
