I love my mommy

Not that I didn't know this already but having a parent that is an active participant in your life is a blessing. Having a parent that participates and you consider them to be a friend is even more so a blessing.

My mother gives so unselfishly of herself, not just to me but anyone that needs anything and that's really a wonderful thing. I can think of many times that she has not only given to our friends and family, but my friends and people that I love because of my concern for them, or just a complete stranger that is in need.

Today she decided to bless me and my sister very generously with a monetary gift that she did not have to share with us at all. It was all hers and we had nothing to do with it. But she felt like it was something that she should do. It's not just the money that made me say I love my mommy but just her. For giving me LIFE, for being there for me allll of my life, for taking on the role of mom and dad when my dad died, for advice, for listening, for tuition, for spending money, for sacrifices, for spiritual guidance, for EVERYTHING.

If you have parents appreciate them. You may have issues and may have gone through major trials and issues that you may think just cant be forgiven but appreciate them. Life is to short to live in the past and dwell on mistakes or shortcomings. Try to build a future and stay connected because you won't miss something until it's gone. So show appreciation and gratitude to your parent if you think you don't have anything to thank them for I've got one thing make sure you appreciate them for giving you life.
