Happy New Year!
I had to stop by my blog and say happy new year! It's such a blessing to even have entered into another year and be alive.
This year instead of doing the partying and hanging out I was at the best place on earth... Church. Earlier I had made plans to go elsewhere but GOD saw fit for those plans to fall apart and for me to be at home and worship with the church that is feeding my spirit. I really felt lie the message that was delivered tonight was really spoken to me and it truly touched my heart. He spoke about how life is full of good times and bad times, in the good times you praise GOD and in the bad you think and contemplate on life and if you have read my journal lately you know that I have been doing a lot of contemplating. He also talked about fulfilling your destiny and living your life for a purpose and if you don't fulfill your destiny and live out what great things GOD has birthed in you its like you have never lived at all. Then what really struck me was the pastor kept talking about people in grad school and he just spoke on the more education you get the bigger the plan of action GOD may be calling you to do. In a previous post I stated that GOD has some big things in store for me and I know that they are going to come to fruition because I believe that he has planted a seed within me that is going to blossom into something amazing. I'm not quite sure what it is yet but the pastor asked people to come to the alter and pray if you wanted GOD too reveal his plan to you and if you wanted insight, so I went up and GOD was ministering to my spirit. Now I just have to wait patiently for my plan of action to take place.
When I left out that building I felt SO good. I felt new and I felt refreshed. When I think about how I brought in the new year last year its kind of sad but I thank GOD for him helping me to grow and for guiding me on my journey that I am embarking on. I thank him for my good days and I reflect on my bad days because they are lessons and things that are helping to build and maximize my growth. With all that said...
