Hail to the...

Today I'm off of work. Why? Because Ronald Reagan died. Because he wanted to have a huge national funeral the federal government, many local governments, and school systems are shut down for the day. I don't mind a day off at all don't get me wrong but a day off for pomp and circumstance isn't all that great to me. A day off you let the rich become richer and the poor stay poor just isn't my cup of tea. It's work to be down, children to be taught, and people who are contracted that won't get their full check this week because of this impromptu holiday.
