Get Involved

You all know I have't forgotten about my vow to make sure everyone is on point when it comes to this upcoming election. Time is ticking and the deadline for registering is REAL soon so go to Rock the Vote and see when your deadline is to register and to get info on absentee ballots. If you are still unsure about things and who to vote for and what their views are visit Vote Smart they have a lot of good info.

Make sure you watch the First Presidential Debate this Thursday September 30th to see what these two men who want to lead us have to say. Debates are an effective way to inform and involve voters in the political process. Topics may focus on a wide range of issues or may be on a particular theme such as education or the economy. During the general presidential debates they usually divide the time between foreign and domestic topics which are HUGE issues for us right now.

Although politics can be boring to some there are tons of debate parties going on around the country and its a great way to go out and meet people who are interested in change. For all of my democratic homies you can visit John Kerry For President and enter your zip and it will tell you where tons of parties are in your area that will be filled with like minded audiences. Even though I am partisan I went to W's official site just so to see if I could find a place for you all to go to as well and didn't really find anything so you can go to general debate watching parties. Or be brave and come watch with us (we won't bite).
