To be in love.
I know most of yall are like duh. But honestly there are so many people that are trying to be so tough and so cool and be on the I'm-superwoman-I- don't-need-a-man-never-will-cause-I-have-a-job-can-do-my-own-thing-pay-my-own-bills-and-do-me type of tip that they don't see that it's okay to be in love and to have feelings and enjoy companionship.
I know yall are like where did this come from. I was in my car today and played a CD I hadn't listened to in a minute, Kindred the Family Soul's" Surrender to Love This CD is so refreshing to hear people talking about being in love. Not bubble gum love or lust but in love and real love at that. I have talked to so many people and at times myself included just try to be Miss GI Jane and be tough because of a bad experience in the past. But I guess listening to this kind of gave me my "ahh ha" moment and made me wonder why be so tough acting and put up this brick wall when it's not needed. I'm not a hater I'm happy to see people be in love and in fact it's refreshing to hear people say yeah we go through stuff but we aregoing to make it and work it out and be happy. I think the title of the CD and the lyrics to the song named after it say it best
