shop-a-holic
A lot of you know me. Those that do know there are several things I have a passion for. Writing, traveling, being socially and politically aware, cooking, music and then there is shopping. My mom says I have an addiction. I do it because I like to be fashionable and I enjoy shopping. It's a sport to me. I don't even have to be shopping for me as a matter of fact I much rather shop for others especially picking out guy clothes (with their own money of course). It just brings me satisfaction. A few years ago I took an IS class and we had to create a website for a business we would have and of course mine was a personal shopping service.
I've always been a shopping junky. When I was about 5 or 6 I threw a tantrum in Landover Mall (so yall know that was waaay back) because I wanted a lavender adidas sweatsuit. I'm telling yall it was flyy lol. My sister just knew I was going get in trouble and she went and found my dad in the mall and he got me the sweatsuit with matching lavender sneakers and some lavender hair balls lol. So yall know I was fly.
Right now I have clothes in 2 wardrobes and a closet and a dresser in my house and have a department store type shoe rack in my room. The shoes are divided by season so right now I have fall and winter shoes in the attick waiting to be seen. I know I know it's a problem. A friend even dared me not to shop the entire month of october to see if I could make it.
It's going to be so hard especially when wherever you go there are clothes that you love and don't mention shoes. I put outfits together backwards. I buy a pair of shoes and then build from there. Like these shoes
I'm seeing some black high waisted trousers and a white shirt with french cuffs and a pink clutch with my hair up and some chandelier earrings lol. See I told you I have issues lol. But I'm going try and take a break from my habit and see how I can do.
So if you see that my blogs sound a little sad thats cause I haven't been going shopping. If you want to help me feel beter since I can't shop I do accept gifts or spa packages lol just use that AIM remote on the side and I'd be more then willingto share my wish list ; )
