lounging on the town
Tonight I was out being Miss Social Butterflyy. My bestfriends brother is opening a restaurant and lounge in DC so he had a little "coming out" party tonight to start to develop a following. In spite of it being a Monday there was a fairly decent crowd. I was there with my bestfriend her "boyfriend" and three of his friends. We were in a cozy spot in DC near Georgetown and the ambiance was great. There was a band playing there and decent food and of course drinks so that means it was an environment that was conducive to some moments that made you say what the f**k...
If you are 4'11 trying to dance with me may not be the best thing. Now I have nothing against the vertically challenged, but if with shoes on I was 5'9 then me dancing with you when your head is breast level, it's just not going to happen.
Also advice for the fellas... if you want to dance with me saying "the way you move your hips I bet you know how to f**k" isn't going to work for me
Conversation I had...
Him: So do you have a man
Me: I sure don't
Him: So do you have any friends
Me: Of course I have friends don't we all
Him: I mean friend friends, like gentleman friends that you relax and conversate with
Me: I do have a few gentleman that I converse with
Him: But no man huh
Me: Nope no man
Him: So how did your ass get so phat
Me: I beg your pardon
Him: I mean if you don't have a man and just friends how did your ass get so phat
Me: (turned around and walked away)
Him: I didn't mean any offense I could just look and tell somebody was hitting it right that's all. I didn't want to step on his toes or disrespect
I'm not even going to comment on this because you all know this convo was just wrong on many levels
Another tip...If a lady says she doesn't want a drink from you don't be offended be happy that you are saving yourself $13 dollars (I don't drink cheap stuff) and keep it moving.
Yet another tip... If you ask me for my number and I say in a nice way that I rather not share it don't get mad and say I'm stuck up, bougie, not cute or whatever else you can think of at that moment... because just thirty seconds earlier you were up in my face with some lame ass line about how sexy I was and how you spotted me from across the room and would like to know me better... just man up and accept the fact that everyone doesn't want you.
On the same note of manning up if I say no to you but say yes to someone else don't be a hater and say how that's f**ked up that I gave that guy some play and not you. Keep it to yourself and move on. Just because you are not my type you don't need to be confrontational
