I should have known....
So currently I'm on vacation from the world in a secret location and I get a call from my good friend asking did I check my email. I haven't and so i hook up the laptop and like I said.... I should have known that I would get another email from the registry abuser (see blog prior to this one ). She sends out an email that goes like this
It seems as though in my email talking about ____ birthday party I put in a link for a registry at Bed-Bath.and*Beyond. I should have put in this one for targ.et and toyzrus instead. But we have decided to make it a birthday party/housewarming so you can bring what you like from either or both lists
my response. Negro Please.
My wonderful and sweet friend is going to buy the baby something because she was named godmother (she was the only one with a steady job when the baby was born so the equation was semi good friend+ job= paycheck AND that = godmommy). So we are looking at the baby registry, hmm the.lion.king, hmm a trampolene (for an apt in NYC), hmm baby ein.stein, hmmm he needs a gift card too...
*pause* homeboy is turning one and wears a 4T what the hell is going on... see guys may not get this, so lets give a visual... my nephew is 2.5 years old and wont be wearing a 4T until at least January this little negro is 11.5 months wearing a 4T. See you want to ask us to buy you crystal and air purifiers and steam machines and spaceships when you are spending all your dough making your child obese buying that future Maury guest cheeseburgers. But I will save that tangent for another entry... So back to the subject at hand... the email... I thought I had read it all
but that wasn't it... here is the kicker
I know some of you live out of the tri-state area and I would not expect you to attend so we also set up an wish.list that way the gifts can be sent here.
See here is the issue. That statement was directed straight at MOI. lol. I was/am the ONLY person in that email who lives out the area and guess what Chrissy is buying...
not a damn thing.
Auntie Chrissy will offer to babysit and take him running in the park and just maybe I'll buy the kid something and give it to him when I'm ready but don't set up a wishlist for me to buy you anything especially when I can set up the "I wish you would pay me back the money you owe me list."
On that note I am going back to hiding
