from the stage

until this weekend I never realized how much I love my linesisters. we aren't a bunch that would have been friends or even connected under normal circumstances but dst brought us together. I felt soo blessed and lucky that my ls asked me to be a part of her wedding and she was absolutely beautiful. we were with her all morning and was fine, we walked down the aisle and were fine, but when we saw her from the stage standing in the back of the church with her mom every last one of us burst into tears. she is a part of us and we felt so overwhelmed to see a part of us back there. I mean every bridesmaid was on the stage crying, that was our friend, our sister walking down that aisle. we knew all the hard work that she put into it and the love that she felt for her husband and it hit us that things were just about to change. from that stage we realized we are growing up, becoming wives, transitioning in our careers and becoming women. from that stage we saw the most beautiful bride we ever saw and that brought us to tears. the attendants had to come on stage twice to give us tissues and thats sad since we brought our own up with us. from that stage in our heads we reminisced on the day when we met and it just had us overwhelmed. I may have complained about the money I spent and the miles putting on driving to NY but it was so worth it all. every penny and mile were worth it all. and better then anything I learned how much I really love them. it's so crazy that they've only been in my life 4.5 years, feels like a lifetime. we shared a great weekend and I know we have so many more moments. it's great to have friends that I love soo much and get to share life altering moments with.
