I just finished up my last little bit of (planned) travel for this year. I just got back from partly sunny Florida (Orlando/Rockledge/ Cape Canaveral) after spending the past few days at my cousins wedding celebration. It was a really great time spent with family and he got married on one of the cruise ships down there and the reception was great and then it was followed by a 3 day cruise. A celebration I tell you. The whole weekends festivities are supposed to be featured in the black newspaper down there. You know me gotta share a few pics... I'll spare you and only post two, okay three lol

So like I said it was a beautiful time. I was sad to leave poolside happy hour at the resort hotel we stayed in and the freeflowing libations on the cruise ship to come back to the chilly weather here in DC. Seems like being in the warm weather those few days messed me up because I am freeeeeezing. It's not even all that cold either. I don't know what the deal is.
On the plane my plan was to create a menu and invitation for my post Christmas celebration. Instead I read fashion magazines and a cooking magazine, I guess that helped me think of an outfit and a few side dishes to make. The real thing I need to be doing is finding a dress for my holiday party at work. I saw a dress I love love love but that would be giving the people tooo much, especially when you have admirers. Ehh.
I should be looking for a dress or making a menu or doing something productive but no. I'm about to get under the goose down and dream for a little while. I'm so lazy. I will be more productive I promise. Plus I should have some good material sine I have two dates this week, one is a blind date another is a friends friend that I vaguely remember meeting... oh joy *sigh*
